{"id":2874,"date":"2022-07-19T09:24:59","date_gmt":"2022-07-19T09:24:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.algavalor.pt\/?p=2874"},"modified":"2022-08-19T10:49:50","modified_gmt":"2022-08-19T10:49:50","slug":"algavalor-at-iranalgae2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.algavalor.pt\/en\/2022\/07\/algavalor-at-iranalgae2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Algavalor at IranAlgae2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last May, In\u00eas Guerra showcased Allmicroalgae&#8217;s &#8220;Industrial Production of Microalgae as Food of the Future&#8221;, at Iran Algae 2022.<\/p>\n<p>She shared her PhD progress on the &#8220;Production and formulation of an <em>Arthrospira platensis<\/em> protein-based meat analogue&#8221; and had the opportunity to discuss her results on organic media optimization for improved growth, protein and phycocyanin content.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, we had Daniel Figueiredo from the Green CoLab \/ LNEG presenting his work on &#8220;Improving Microalgae Downstream Processing for Targeted Applications&#8221;, which falls under Algavalor&#8217;s SP4.<\/p>\n<p>In the context of future food development, In\u00eas showed Algavalor&#8217;s contribution to the field, particularly SP1. Microalgae habe been consumed as food for centuries and indeed they still are <strong>the<\/strong> <strong>food of the future<\/strong>!
