Algavalor Project aims to valorize microalgae for their many applications. This project showcases several ways in which these microorganisms contribute for our well-being and how they positively impact our daily lives. Starting fresh with this new year, and in the final stretch of the project, shall we take a look back, to see what we’ve achieved?
This ambicious project was implemented through hard work and dedication of all the entities involved. It trully demonstrates our ability to work together as a team, to generate knowledge, and to put it into practice, through direct applications. On the one hand, Algavalor relies on solid research, developed with support of established academic research groups. On the other hand, the industrial partners have uptaken these results and showcase feasibility from the lab into large-scale production, to launch novel products to the market.
Algavalor is at the finish line, but its results will stand. All scientific publications are made available through this website. And throughout the next months we will highlight some of the results achieved in each of the main work packages of the project.
